As a CEO/ Senior Leader, are you looking to improve collaboration in your teams? Ask yourself these three questions:
✨ Does my organization promote a culture of open communication?
As a leader, set the tone for transparent communication, encourage constructive feedback and show value for individuals’ contributions. The ripple effect of top leadership’s behavior on teams’ communication is a motivator.
✨ Do the people in my teams know each other?
People collaborate a lot better when they know and like one another. If your teams work together and have not met in a while (or at all), it may be a good time to organize a corporate (or team) retreat.
✨ Are my teams clear on their roles?
When team members are not clear on their responsibilities in the organization or in a project, miscommunications and bottlenecks occur. If such is the case, consider holding a workshop to bring everyone back on the same page and implement systems to hold everybody accountable.
